What is QUBO Smart Indoor Camera device?
QUBO Smart Indoor Camera device can be used for 24x7 indoor surveillance. It has AI features such as face recognition, motion detection, person detection and baby cry alert. Inbuilt Alexa allows to have voice command control and work the device as smart speaker. It also acts as ZigBee Hub to control home automation sensors such as door sensor, smoke/gas sensor and Smart Plug.
What smartphone platforms does QUBO Camera support?
  • Android: Version 5.1 and above
  • iOS: iOS 11 and Above
How far is the range of camera coverage in night vision?

Qubo Smart Indoor Camera can cover up to 8 meters in dark light conditions.

Where is the MAC Address on QUBO Smart Indoor Camera?
It can be noted on the device screen before commissioning. The MAC address is available in the app. To access the same:
  • Go to the hamburger menu
  • Click on my device
  • Click on the Indoor Camera
  • Locate option of device info
  • You’ll get the MAC address of the device.

Connection and Commission
Does QUBO Smart Indoor Camera support Wi-Fi Dual Band networks?

The Qubo Smart AI Camera device works only on 2.4 GHz WIFI.

Can I pair/commission QUBO Camera with my mobile using mobile data connection and hotspot?

You can commission the Qubo smart home gadget with a mobile hotspot but later you have to change the device internet connection to your home network, as stable internet connection with 2Mbps UL speed is required for Qubo AI camera.

Make sure your connected smart device on Wi-Fi is using a hotspot from another mobile. Device shall not be commissioned if you are using the same mobile through which you had given the hotspot.

What if there is no audio saying instruction on how to pair/commission after boot-up camera?
Follow the below steps:
  • Remove the Qubo Smart Indoor Camera from QUBO app from the device’s setting page.
  • You’ll be redirected to the “add device” page.
  • Follow the same commissioning steps to commission the device.
How can I change Wi-Fi details in already commissioned/paired camera?
For Indoor Camera, in order to change the WIFI setting
  • Go the Indoor Camera’s settings option in the device
  • Select the WIFI on the device
  • Set the password.
Can a single user connect/commission more than one QUBO Indoor Camera?
Yes, you can add as many Qubo Smart Indoor Cameras for a single user.
Can we add any ZigBee sensors (like Smoke sensor/Gas sensor) i.e. Other than QUBO ZigBee Sensors?
No, you cannot add ZigBee sensors other than QUBO ZigBee Sensors.
Can QUBO ZigBee Sensors (like Smoke sensor/Gas sensor) work with any other ZigBee Hub?
No, you cannot add QUBo ZigBee sensors with any other Hub.
Qubo Account, Access to Device and Reset
How can I share access for my Smart Indoor Cameras to other members?
You can do so by sharing login and password credentials of QUBO app. If you wish to share the credentials, better way is to register using Email rather than ‘Sign in with Google’. Because to sign in with Google accounts, one need to sign in using same Google ID for another phone, which may sync up yours google data in another phone.
How can I remove members from accessing my devices?
You shall change your account password.
Can the other members remove or delete my device?
Yes, as simultaneous logins have the same rights.
Is there any limit on the number of members I can add?
As per Gold subscription plan you can share your credential up to 3 users for simultaneous logins.
If I have multiple devices configured, can I give specific device access to specific members?
All the simultaneous logins have the same rights.
What to do if I am not able to register a purchased camera with my login account (after logged in)?
Please follow the instructions on the app for the commissioning of the device. In case the issue persists, please connect with Customer Service on 1800 572 5757
How do I remove QUBO Camera from one account and activate into another account?
Follow the below steps:
  • Go to the setting of the device.
  • Remove it from the right top part of the setting screen.
How do I Reset/Factory reset my QUBO Camera?
Hard Reset Procedure 1:
  • Make sure the camera is booted up
  • Press Reset Pin for 10 seconds.
  • Follow the instructions on the camera display screen
Reset Procedure 2:
  • Power On camera
  • Release Reset pin after 5 seconds
  • Follow the instruction on the camera display screen
How do I create and register accounts with QUBO Camera?
Please download the QUBO app from Play store/IOS. Follow the steps for login credentials and then move ahead.
How do I change the password for QUBO Camera Account?
Follow the below process:
  • Go to the hamburger menu
  • Go to my profile option
  • Locate an option to change the password
What to do if I forgot my password for my QUBO Camera account?
Forget password option is available in the app.
What to do if I forgot both my login id and password?
The email ID used for the last login can be accessed. You would need to reset the password. If the Smart camera is commissioned, it needs to be decommissioned first. This will require details from the user for verification purposes.
How do I remove and unsubscribe my QUBO Camera account?
The user needs to click on the profile pic and then manage. By selecting Delete Account from Profile screen, users can delete their Qubo account.
What are all my personal details does QUBO Camera Account will access?
We capture only profile related details like Name, Email id, Contact number, etc. We don’t share this information with any third party and is used only for Qubo based notifications and messages
What are the mobile settings or data that QUBO Camera Account will get access or control?
Qubo smart security camera will be linked only to the Qubo application.
How close must the Indoor Camera be to my internet router?
The range of distance of the Wi-Fi signal is determined by your router. We recommend keeping the security camera within 30 feet (10 meters max.) of your router. It should be within the 10 meters range without any wall or object. This distance can vary depending on obstacles such as concrete or stucco walls, metallic barriers, or other interference.

How does QUBO Camera Record Video?
The device comes with Artificial Intelligence Technology. You can program it to send commands to associated device i.e. camera to start recording whenever there is a motion/person detection. The device has 2 different ways by which you can trigger recording -
  • Person Detection
  • Motion Detection (object/person)
Does QUBO Camera provide environmental monitoring in addition to video monitoring?
QUBO Indoor Camera provides environment monitoring only by using associated sensors such as Smoke, and Gas sensors.
Why is my QUBO Camera Offline?
There can be multiple reasons that your camera becomes offline. Below are the conditions:
  • Wi-Fi is not connected
  • Internet unavailable
  • Power cut off
Why don’t I receive notifications from QUBO Camera?
There could be multiple issues that your Qubo Indoor Camera device must be facing. Below are some of them:
  • Device is in offline state
  • Low Internet connectivity
  • Muted notification from mobile setting
  • Didn’t set predefined parameters
  • Notifications are Off in Phone settings
Why is my QUBO Camera Video in Grey Scale (Black and White)?
Qubo App produces such footage only in the Night Mode.
How can I control the frequency of notifications due to motion detection?
You can set the parameter according to your choice/requirement from App settings.
Below are the steps for the same
  • Go to Camera Settings
  • Motion Trigger Sensitivity

Here, the frequency of notifications can be controlled as below

  • High – Gives notification for all kind of motions
  • Low – Gives notifications for only large motions
How can I avoid Motion detection caused by devices like TV, Fan and Tube Light etc.?
By creating multiple Zones (where motion is to be monitored), TV, FAN and Tube Light motions can be avoided. Maximum of 5 zones can be created by the user. It detects pets & person’s motion; You can set the parameter according to your choice/requirement from App settings Also, motion sensitivity level can be adjusted to avoid unnecessary
Why is my QUBO Camera Picture not clear?
Below could be one of the reasons:
  • Check QUBO camera lens for dirt, dust, spider webs, etc. Clean the lens with a soft and clean cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners or aerosol cleaners that may harm the lens.
  • Make sure the QUBO camera is not too far from the router. Also, check for downloading and uploading speeds are more than 2Mbps on mobile and camera respectively
Why is my QUBO Camera Picture Is Too Bright?
Try below remedies to get better illumination with your Qubo Smart Indoor Camera Check QUBO camera is directly facing at the source of light, such as the sun or a spot light. Move your security camera to a different location.
What is the video resolution supported by QUBO smart camera?
Qubo Smart Camera resolution is 3.2MP Camera with 1080p video recording For Live Streaming

What is the maximum size of SD Card supported?
Qubo Smart Indoor Camera supports up to 128 GB of memory cards (Classes 4, 6 and 10)
Routines/Use Cases
Does QUBO Camera have an audible alarm or siren? When/how is it activated?
Yes (Trigger Alarm). It can be activated manually or through Alexa. You can even program it through routines provided in settings.
How does QUBO Camera know when I'm home or away?
You shall select modes through Qubo Application. There are three modes available on the app:
  • Home Mode
  • Away Mode
  • Night Mode
When QUBO Camera senses motion how will it notify me?
Whenever a motion is detected, using Edge AI on the camera feed, the camera will start recording and notify you on the QUBO mobile app with a notification.
What are the differences between away, home, and night modes?
Depending upon your location, you can pre-define the actions that you want the device to Perform along with separate routines. This is managed through the modes. There are 3 modes:
  • Home: If you are at home you might don’t want any routines and no recording triggers and No notification in case of Person/Motion detection.
  • Away: In case you are on Vacation or business trip, then you might have some routines along with device settings where recordings shall be done on Person Detection along with Notification.
  • Night: During night time you might want to set separate routines to secure your home or privacy along with recordings trigger to be set on Person detection along with notifications
What are the advantages of Person detection?
It saves the memory & does not record an empty room. This way, you can save your cloud and SD card storage. Also, you would get the relevant notifications.
How does QUBO camera is useful for me and my family?
Here are some typical use cases:
  • You can monitor your house, family & pets via 24x7live feeds to your connected device
  • You can trigger alarm remotely.
  • Inbuilt Alexa to use your device by giving voice commands.
  • You can use zone fencing for safety & security of your valuables & kids by creating virtual fence.

How do I purchase the QUBO Subscription?
You can purchase subscriptions either through your Mobile app or by visiting Qubo web site. This is applicable for registered users.

Process 1:

  • Click on the menu in the mobile app
  • Go to My Profile
  • Manage Subscriptions
  • Subscription Details -
  • Select the plan of your choice
  • Buy Now.
  • You will be directed to Payment Gateway to complete your payment for the selected plan. On successful payment, your plan will be activated in a few minutes.

    Process 2:

  • Visit Qubo website
  • Click on MyQubo
  • Login using your email id and password
  • Subscription Details
  • Select the plan of your choice
  • Buy Now.
  • You will be redirected to Payment Gateway to complete your payment for the selected plan. On successful payment, your plan will be activated in a few minutes.

    How do I renew QUBO Subscription?
    Your membership/subscription will be auto renewed each billing cycle after successful charging to your credit card.

    Follow the below steps

    How do I know QUBO Camera is in Normal or Night Vision?
    It will be in greyscale in night mode & colored in normal mode
    Why can't I watch live video?
    Make sure both camera and mobile are connected to the internet. In case the camera displays offline, check the internet connectivity on both camera and mobile. Also make sure downloading and uploading speeds are above 2 Mbps on mobile and camera respectively.
    Alexa
    Why can't QUBO Indoor Camera hear my voice?
    This may happen if the mute button is kept pressed/On which stops the Alexa to hear the voice.
    How to setup Alexa in QUBO Indoor Camera?
    You can setup Alexa in the following two ways While Using Camera:
    • Go to Camera Settings
    • Tap on Amazon Alexa
    • Tap Setup
    In case of Amazon Shopping app is installed and logged in, Alexa will be authorized automatically.
    In case Amazon shopping app is not installed, it will ask for Amazon credentials mail id and password.
    How do you enable smart home skills in QUBO Indoor Camera?

    Smart Home Skill will be enabled automatically during Alexa authorization.
